Wednesday distributions are in Greenpoint from 6:30 - 8pm in the Greenpoint Reformed Church, 136 Milton St, Brooklyn, NY 11222. We are very proud to partner with our friends at Greenpoint Church who have long been our Soup Kitchen donation recipients and are engaged in incredible service to our community.
Saturday distributions are in Williamsburg from 9:30am - 12pm at McCarren Park, next to the dog run and community garden.
The Greenpoint-Williamsburg CSA is a volunteer-run community supported agriculture organization based in the Greenpoint and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn, NY.
By purchasing shares, our members support the farm when they need it most – before the start of the growing season – and receive fresh, organic produce throughout the summer and fall.
We offer a full pantry of weekly and biweekly shares of ...
fruit (local, low-spray)
eggs (truly free range, natural feed)
cheese (artisan, no antibiotics or hormones)
meat (no antibiotics, hormones, or animal by-products in feed)
bread (organic wheat from GoE farm)
pickles and preserves (grown and processed by GoE)
... at two pickup locations.
The mission of the GWCSA is to establish and maintain connections between local residents and local farms and producers, and to foster more sustainable ways of eating and living.
Welcome to the Greenpoint-Williamsburg CSA web home! We are excited that you're interested in us. As one of North Brooklyn's longest-running CSAs, we've been fostering community and providing organic, local produce to our neighborhood since 2005. We partner with Garden of Eve organic farm in Riverhead, New York. Our season runs from June to the end of November, and we also have a winter share option that runs from December to May. You can join our CSA to receive vegetables, fruit, eggs, cheese, bread, meat, pickles and preserves, flowers, and plants, and you can visit our Shares page for more info about pricing and distribution dates.
"At GWCSA we love getting to know our members and strengthening our neighborhood through community. You can visit our Facebook page or find us on Instagram to get the latest news and photos from this season. We are always happy to hear about our members' adventures with cooking seasonal produce (#gwcsa for social media posts!) and we organize a variety of group activities throughout the season, from happy hours to picnics to farm and winery trips.
